Camron's obituary
Camron Wayne Draper was born on June 28, 1983 in Wichita, Kansas to his parents Juanda L. Gibson and Randall V. Draper.
On March 17, 1984 Camron moved from Wichita to Minneapolis, MN. Camron graduated from North Community High School and worked in the culinary field for most of his career as a line cook and sous chef. He worked at some of the finest restaurants including Hard Rock Cafe, Red Rabbit in the North Loop, The Lexington, and Crasqui, a Venezuelan restaurant. Most recently he worked as Executive Chef at Bennett’s Chop and Railhouse in St. Paul. Camron lived in Las Vegas and while there he supported the opening of the Hard Rock Cafe on the Las Vegas strip. Camron was just as passionate about cooking at home as he was at work.
Camron is survived by his children including his son DeCarion Hutchinson, daughters Kami Draper and Amelia Draper, grandsons JayCeon Hutchinson and Jasiah Reign Hutchinson, his mother Juanda L. Gibson, his brother Randall Draper Jr., his two nephews Isaac Draper and Camron Draper, his life partner Donnie Belcher and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, family and friends. Camron was preceded in death by his father Randall V. Draper, grandfathers Rufus Draper Sr., and John L. Gibson, and his grandmothers Louella Draper and Lula Mae Brown.
