Mr. Calvin Langley, age 84, a resident of Millbrook, AL passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, April 26, 2011.

Funeral services for Mr. Hopkins will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 2 p.m. from First United Methodist Church in Greenville, AL with Rev. S. Ellen Hopkins, niece officiating. Interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery.

Mr. Hopkins was a retired accountant with the State of Alabama and a member of First United Methodist Church of Millbrook.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years Anne McCrory Hopkins of Millbrook, AL, daughter Beverly Wheat (Stan) of Millbrook, AL, son John L. Hopkins of Atlanta, GA, granddaughter Caroline Grace Wheat of Millbrook, AL, sister Emma Pearl Evans of Rome, GA, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to United Methodist Children's Home, 3140 Zelda Court, Montgomery, AL 36106-2607, Baptist Hospice, 301 Interstate Park, Montgomery, AL 36109 or to charity of your choice.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 28, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Hopkins will also lie in state at the church on Friday, April 29, 2011 from 1-2 p.m. Brookside Funeral Home of Millbrook, AL directing.
