Calvin's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Calvin Deion, a truly good man who brought love and warmth into the lives of everyone around him. Calvin was a devoted husband, a wonderful father, and an amazing grandfather whose presence brightened every room he entered.

Born on July 23, 1941, Calvin spent his life cherishing what mattered most: his family. His love for fishing, country music, and a cold Bud Light were among his simple joys, but nothing could compare to the love he had for his family, who were the center of his world.

Calvin will be deeply missed by Leona, his beloved wife of 60 years; his daughter Diane Cabeceiras; his son-in-law, Henry Cabeceiras, whom he loved as a son; his grandchildren, Ashley Zahller and Hailey Maggio; and a host of extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, generosity, and love that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

“Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.”
