Caliana's obituary
Cali was born in Raleigh, NC, to parents Chad and Sara Moody. A sweet, beautiful child, Cali was known by her family and friends to be feisty, loving, and brave. She had a love of music that carried her, and her family, through many hospital stays and difficult treatments. She was often heard singing loudly to the music of the Beatles and Daughtry. She loved dancing and being silly with her family. She was Lion-strong, which has become the Moody family motto.
Cali is survived by her parents, Chad and Sara; her sisters, Isabella, Jazlyn, and Scarlett Moody; her brothers, Paxon and Saber Moody; her paternal grandparents, Jim and Brenda Moody; her maternal grandparents, Al and Marie Davis; her aunts, Angela and Danielle Davis; her aunt and uncle, Brian and Dawn Davis; her aunt and uncle, Jason and Krissy Davis; and her cousins, Landon, Tyler, Meadow, and River Davis.
The Moody family invites everyone to come celebrate Cali’s life at Fuquay-Varina Baptist Church in Fuquay-Varina, NC on May 11, 2018, 4:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Please wear purple in honor of Cali. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Ronald McDonald House of Durham or to Grace Community Church of Angier, NC.
