Dear Ferrell Family, I know this is a hard time for you and your family. My  has kept you all in our prayers. I personally did not know Caleb well, but met him on occasion when I dropped off my daughter, Catherine, to visit with Theresa.

On Caleb’s birthday, I am reflecting on the times that our kids got together to pick strawberries, have birthdays, celebrate holidays like Thanksgiving and Easter. He towered above my younger kids but he was always so kind and would look out for them. He was a steady and fun presence. I really valued those times as we were far from our biological cousins and I so appreciated the community. I remember him hiding Easter eggs for the “little kids” out in the rain and mud one year. He was a wonderful young person. Mike remembers his talents as a runner and how his mom bribed him to grow his hair out one year ! Sending love and remembering Caleb fondly.
