Background
As many of you know, before retiring, our dad was actually the man BEHIND the weatherman - a Data Acquisition Program Manager. Weather was his career and his passion - I'm sure you've all gotten a "make sure you get everything you need because the snow is about to be REAL bad!" call a time or two. A kind and giving man introduced our dad to weather as a young man, and asked that he do the same for future generations; He beamed with joy whenever given the opportunity to share meteorology with young and old alike. To keep his legacy of meteorological mentorship alive, please donate to the American Meteorological Society if you feel so inclined.
