Burgess's obituary

Burgess Watts, 79, of Aurora passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on August 25, 1941 in Kentucky.

He is survived by his wife Lila Watts; his daughter Katrina (Jeff) Buban; his son Burgess (Pamela) Watts; his grandchildren Jessica (Alex) Benitez, Kaytlin (Justin) Graf, Krysta (Dan) Taylor, Kara “Pooh” Watts, Jay Buban, and Amy (Tim) Mann; his two great grandchildren Alex and Thomas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Goebel and Laverna Watts; and his two sisters Glenna Ruth Miller and Savannah Boyd.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 10:00am with a visitation following the service until 1:00pm at The Daleiden Mortuary. Fr. Jerome Leake will officiate. Interment will be private.
