Funeral for
Buddy (Bo) Leon Terry Jr.
3/16/63-3/12/22
Dear Family and Friends,
I am writing to you today to let you know about the loss of Bo Terry. Bo had a Hemorrhagic Stroke (Bleeds) that affected the brain stem on February 23rd. Family and Friends were able to visit with him during his stay in the hospital. Bo was removed from the vent and all other support on March 9th at 5:55pm with his wife-Marcie Terry, his son and his wife-Joseph and Leslie Terry, myself (his stepdaughter of 35 years) Christy Anderson, his brother and his wife-JimBo and Kristen Crenshaw, His brother and his wife-Bobby and April Terry and close family friend-Hank Ingle present . However, as we all know, Bo is a fighter and a stubborn ol’ man and he just wasn’t ready to leave us just yet. He held on and gave his family more time to sit and visit with him and tell him how much we loved him, were grateful and thankful for his involvement in our lives and the many many good things he had done for us throughout the years. On March 12th Bo decided we had all had enough time to say our goodbyes and took his last breath with his wife, son and daughter-in-law and myself present. His time of death was recorded as 6:03 pm on March 12, 2022 just days before his 59th birthday. Family and friends have shared many stories about Bo and one this that stands out consistently is that he was always willing to help anyone in need and would basically give the shirt off his back if it would help a person in need. Now it is Bo that is that person in need…
The funeral services will be planned and conducted by Evans and Miller Funeral Home in Poteau with a burial at Ellis Chapel in Wister, OK. Details of services are not known at this time.
We are absolutely devastated by Bo’s passing and are struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of the service. Based on researching expenses here is a breakdown of all the costs involved in a funeral service for Buddy (Bo) TerryJr.
Total Estimated Cost
$5600
I’ve started a fundraiser to collect donations for Bo’s funeral service.
Please consider donating if you are able to do so. We are so very grateful for every donation during this difficult time. I am confident and optimistic that with all of Bo’s family, friends and individuals whose lives he touched will find it in their hearts the willingness and ability to give to assist in providing for his final resting place and memorial services in his honor. Please know that anything you are able to give will help, no amount is too small or too large and the family will be forever grateful to your time and consideration to this matter.
With love,
