Bryce's obituary
Born in Portland Oregon on June 9th 1954 to Max and Marietta Farren, Bryce grew up in Longview, WA and was a proud graduate of Washington State University (GO COUGS!!).
Bryce spent the entirety of his working career in the insurance industry in the Seattle area. While dedicated to his craft and the insurance business, Bryce's true love and passions were his family, friends, sports and animals. An avid golfer and lover of all sports, on any given day you could find Bryce on the back nine, a set of bleachers, or cheering on one his favorite teams surrounded by friends and family. No gathering would be complete without Bryce showcasing his singing with Bing Crosby's "White Christmas".
While the last several years of Bryce's life were challenged with various health ailments, one constant was his smile and infectious laugh. Whether at a backyard barbecue, family holiday gatherings, or simply watching movies with his family, Bryce's personality was one that was unrivaled.
Bryce was preceded by his parents, Max and Marietta, his sister Gayle, his brother Michael and grandfather Otto Maynard.
Bryce was survived by his loving wife Sara, his grown children, son Ryan and his fiancé Grace, daughters Keira, and Dawn, and his four-legged daughters Bailey and Raven.
A few of Bryce's favorite quotes included:
"Farren's Never Quit"
"Yeah Baby!"
"A little Crown to settle down"
Bryce was a one-of-a-kind man, a gentle soul with a big heart. He was loved by all and will be sorely missed.
