Bryan's obituary

Bryan Ellis Snuggs, 64, passed away on Sunday, February 19th, 2023, at Anmed hospital in Anderson, SC with his family by his side.

He was born July 7th, 1958, in Albemarle, North Carolina, to the late Ellis Hosier and Irma Jean Snuggs. Mr. Snuggs graduated from Carolina High School and went on to be a computer programmer for the majority of his life.

During his retirement, he enjoyed spending time and playing with his grandchild and great-grandchild, Colton and Levi. Mr. Snuggs was happiest when surrounded by his family and enjoyed watching anime and sports, trying new foods, drinking diet Mountain Dew, and reading novels and comic books.

He is survived by his brother Scott (Christy) Snuggs; children, Krystal Snuggs (Robert) and Brent (Katherine) Snuggs; grandchildren, Melanie McAbee, Colton Jones, Matthew Green, and Katlynn Green; great-grandchild, Levi McAbee; and 6 nieces and nephews. Mr. Snuggs was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, James V. Snuggs and Debra Snuggs Acker.

His family paid this tribute to him, ‘Bryan was one of the kindest and funniest people you could meet and he loved all of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild with all of his heart. He was thrilled to be a part of his only great-grandchild’s life and loved seeing him daily until he passed. He will be remembered and missed by many.’

Private celebration of life services will be held with close family and friends later this month.
