Bryan's obituary
Bryan Thomas Fletcher, 72, of Norco, California, passed away unexpectedly on June 28 after a fatal heart attack.
Born in Arizona on December 8, 1948, to loving parents Henriette Viola Fletcher née Low and Thomas Fletcher, Bryan looked forward to returning to Arizona to retire in beautiful Sedona. Bryan graduated high school in [year of graduation] and went on to complete a bachelor’s degree in Architecture at [California Polytechnic State University]. After college, Bryan worked in drafting and architecture for many years before becoming a consultant, helping businesses improve their ADA accessibility.
Bryan was a loving pet parent to his adorable dogs, Blinkie, Daisy, and Meerkat, who he referred to as his “Angels.” His Sedona retirement dream included many sketches of indoor and outdoor play areas for his dogs to enjoy.
Bryan helped both parents face the challenges of aging. As his father’s health declined, Bryan considered moving back to Arizona to help care for him before his death in 1994. He adored and was adored by his mother, Ette, who lived nearby in Corona del Mar and died in 2002. He regularly took his mom out for excursions and lunches, doting on her with great affection.
Bryan was passionate about his dogs, bodybuilding, car shows, and his dream of settling in Sedona, Arizona, for retirement. He still hoped to find a loving woman to share his cherished dream of the golden years.
Bryan was an only child and is predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his cousins Wendy Low and Robin Low. A private celebration of life will be held in the family. Please feel welcome to send memories of Bryan to be read at the celebration.
