Bruce Barnett, 67, of Worcester, passed away on July 13, 2022 after a long illness.  Bruce was born on June 19, 1955 to John D. and Carol A. (Benoit) Barnett in Shirley,  MA  After graduating from West Boylston  Jr. Sr. High School in 1973,  he went on to enlist in the United States Navy.

After completing his tour of duty in 1975 he began a successful career as a finished carpenter.  Bruce built houses, furniture, and many other beautiful pieces of work.  He also worked as a "handy man" for a number of wealthy families in Hampton Beach,  New Hampshire. Bruce never married but had one son, John "Jack" M. Barnett who predeceased him in 2013. Bruce was also predeceased by his father, John D.  Barnett, and his nephew Bradford J. Hidenfelter along with all of his grandparents and aunts and uncles.  Bruce is survived by his mother, Carol Barnett of Holiday Florida, his sister,  Nancy Barnett of Spencer MA,  his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
