Bruce's obituary

Bruce Rebhun, 79, of Sunrise FL, passed away on August 19th 2021.
Funeral services will be held on August 24th at 11:00 a.m. at Beth Israel Cemetery, 1098 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge, NJ. Services can also be viewed via Zoom, details to follow. Info: Goldstein Memorial Chapel, (732) 777-0032.
Bruce was born in New York to Shirley Tenenbaum Rebhun & Alfred Rebhun on May 2, 1942. He attended Stuyvesant High School and took catering classes at the local college before joining his father in the jewelry business. He has been married to Marcia Rogal since 2003. He was previously married to Marsha Fallon and they had two children Scott and Jodi
He worked with his father to build their business, Alfred Rebhun and Son Jewelers, and continued to enjoy that success until he lost his sight in 2017. At that time, he retired from New York to Florida, where he enjoyed quiet afternoons with Marcia, listening to music, audio books, and visits with friends and family.
Bruce is preceded in death by his parents Shirley and Al.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia, his children Scott Rebhun and Jodi (Jerry) Roberts, his sister Dr. Laura (Lanny Feder) Lashever, and his grandchildren Hunter Roberts & Kate Ryan Roberts, and cherished uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
After his vision loss, The Lighthouse for the Blind was instrumental in helping Bruce adapt. He was filled with pride listening to stories from his grandchildren about the things they enjoyed most, basketball for Hunter and theater for Kate. If you would like, donations may be made in his honor:
