Bear's obituary
With sorrow, we announce the passing of Bruce Ellsworth Quattrococchi, known to many as "Bear," on July 6, 2024, in Miami, Florida. Born on June 9, 1964, in Sabbattus, ME, Bear was a man who's good natured character and warmth, brought joy to those around him.
Bruce, or Bear as he was affectionately called, lived a life marked by the simple joys and the pursuit of moments that spoke to the soul. An avid fisherman, Bear found solace and peace in the rhythms of nature, casting lines into the tranquil waters he so loved. His tattoos, each a fragment of his life's journey, adorned him as a tapestry of personal history and expression.
Bear leaves behind daughters, Michelle Mann and Christina Mann of Dover, NH, and many friends and relations who's lives he touched. He was preceded in death by his son, Bruce Quattrococchi, Jr, his daughter, Nicole Quattrococchi, both of Gardner, MA, and his dear brother Joey Mann of Lewiston, ME. Their memories remained a beacon of love in his life's story.
In adherence to Bear's wishes for a simple and unassuming remembrance, there will be no formal funeral service. The family invites those who knew him to celebrate his life in personal reflection and acts that he would have valued, such as enjoying a quiet day of fishing in his honor.
We take a moment to honor the memory of Bruce "Bear" Quattrococchi, a kindred spirit and a gentle soul, whose life's narrative was as vivid and heartfelt as the ink that graced his skin. May he find eternal rest and tranquility, as we continue to hold him dear in our collective memory. His presence in our lives has left a lasting impact. We're going to miss you, Brown Bear
