Bruce's obituary

Dr. Bruce Alan Parker  was born on January 1, 1951 in San Diego, California.  Bruce sadly passed away on May 5, 2024 in Temecula, California.  He was the son of Lester and Mary Parker.  Bruce was a Chiropractor, healer, motivational speaker, outgoing entrepreneur and family man.

Bruce graduated from Hoover High School in San Diego, CA in 1969…..and embarked on a journey of lifelong learning and teaching. He attended San Diego State College and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Parker and college friend Dr. Perry Savage launched a “Surf’s Up” chiropractic business in Pacific Beach, California.  Bruce went on to own seven additional Chiropractic offices spanning 30 years.  Palmer College embedded an innate understanding of the whole body and nervous system.  Chiropractic care left his patients, family and friends with a healthy immune system and lifestyle.  Dr. Parker not only healed his patients but inspired new graduates entering the field of Chiropractic. He continued in Chiropractic as a consultant, speaker and author of training manuscripts for new Chiropractors for another 25 years. 

Bruce was more than just a Doctor of Chiropractic….he was a mentor, friend, guide and always ready to inspire and share his knowledge. Beyond his professional achievements, he was an avid water skiier and dog lover. His family & friends enjoyed many water ski and snow ski trips over the years. Bruce enjoyed other fun hobbies…. owning horses, playing polo and racing Porsche's. His life was full of adventure….family & friends did their best to keep up with him. 

 His belief that you can manifest anything you believe in will continue to resonate and inspire others. Bruce leaves behind a legacy of Chiropractic health knowledge that was shared with  hundreds of patients and doctors.

Dr. Bruce Parker is internationally recognized as the “Strategic Action Coach” – a thought leader and an inspiration for chiropractic professionals across the globe who wish to expand their knowledge and uplift the practice profitability of their firms. 

Most recently….Dr. Parker was actively involved in the Good Samaritan Food Pantry in Temecula, Ca. serving  seniors, veterans, cancer patients and families at risk.  Good Samaritan delivered fresh, frozen, canned, boxed food items, toiletries and pet supplies weekly.  Bruce is survived by his recent wife Teri Sue Parker,  daughter, Jennifer Parker, two step daughters, Sabrina and Ashley Chapman and two grandchildren,  Nova & Saylor Taylor and his former wife of 25 years, Linda Parker.   Bruce Alan Parker’s spirit and teachings will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of those he touched. His commitment to excellence and his drive to inspire will forever be remembered and honored.  A celebration of Life is planned for Saturday July 20th in Dana Point, Ca.
