Often, Lois, Bruce & I would head out to shop somewhere in Vancouver. No matter where we were or what we did, we always goofed around. Lois & I would be acting like rascals and being mischievous and Bruce would be sober sides and act as though we were being ridiculous but we knew he was enjoying our antics. I was remodeling my small double wide trailer and they were the first to offer to help many times. I remember them installing my new stove overhead exhaust fan. They nattered back and forth while doing it. I was chuckling at their lovingly bantering and my sweet Lois said " Nothing like watching Mutt & Jeff working on a project, hey Glady" We all laughed. I miss them so much! I still shake my head in disbelief that they are gone😔
Lois, Bruce & I were real buddies. I first met them when I began housekeeping for Crystal & Harv. I then became Crystal's caregiver when she became ill. Lois and I spent many hours together with her mom as she lay dying. We really bonded then. After Crystal passed I stayed on to care for Harv. I got to know Bruce's parents well also. I sat with Moneta in the hospital as she lost her precious husband. I became part of the family for many many years. Ten years of closeness until I became ill and had to quit work. I lost my job, home and car. I finally had to move to Maple Ridge. Lois & Bruce came to visit often & took care of me whenever I had surgeries. They were the kindest, most giving & caring couple I ever had the pleasure of knowing. We three always calledceach other "the three musketeers".  I can't believe they are both gone now. I am feeling the loss very deeply. My deepest sympathies to all of the families 💔
