Bruce's obituary
He was born in Norwich Connecticut on April 15, 1938 to the late Elizabeth Pattison Crowell and Russell E. Crowell. He lived in East Hartford Connecticut then later moving to Hebron Connecticut in 1967 and finally resided in Wurtsboro New York.
Bruce proudly served his country as a marine. After serving his country, he started as a machine operator at Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford and then finished his career as a tool and die maker at ABA PGT in Manchester, retiring in 2003.
He was loved and respected by all who knew him. He was a hard worker, devoted husband and father who put his family first. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved the White Mountains of New Hampshire. He loved camping, sightseeing and watching the Redsox. He was always willing to help and guide others and will be remembered for his generosity and warmth.
He was very active in the church-The First Spiritualist Church of Willimantic while living in Connecticut
Besides his spouse of 13 years Elsie (Candy) Crowell and his precious dog Brittney; he leaves behind his 3 children, Bruce P. Crowell Jr and spouse Mary of Woodstock, Elizabeth C. Weinschenk and spouse Kurt of Florida, Darlene Kearns and spouse Sean of Bolton as well as his brother John Jackson. He was preceded in death by his spouse of 41 years, Sally Widdison Crowell. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Glen Crowell and Robert Crowell.
He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Graystorm Crowell, Christina McNeff, Kayla McNeff, Steven McNeff, Tyler Daigle and several nieces and nephews.
Bruce was cremated and burial will be private.
