Happy Heavenly Birthday Brooklyn 💟

When Brooklyn and I were younger we would always ride our bikes around the neighborhood and I had no friends at the time because I had just moved there and she made such an impact on my life. A couple years later she transferred to my school and I was friends with her and she always cheered my days up when I was down and she always had the biggest smile and the best laugh and I could see Jesus shining through her. I love her so much and she will be missed.

Brooklyn and I first became friends freshman year towards the end of the year. She would always say hi to me and give me the biggest hug. The first time we hung out was with my cousin Brooq and we went to chick fl a and did a parking garage photo shoot. We had such a blast and so many laughs. From there, Brooklyn and I truly got closer. She would always come to the pools I lifeguarded at and sit with me during my long shifts, it really meant the world to me. After losing my dad this summer, Brooklyn comforted me through it all. When sophomore year came around even though we didn’t have a class together we would talk and hug almost everyday in the hallways. I miss her hugs so much. In this last semester, Brooklyn would come in my A4 class everyday and it always made my day being able to share some laughs with her. I’ll miss our facetimes debriefing about the crazy stuff going on in our lives, i’ll miss your presence, and i’ll miss the light you shined on this world Brooklyn. All my love and prayers go out to the Rivera family as they go through this extremely rough patch in their lives, don’t hesitate to reach out if I can ever help out. I love you so big B. Until we meet again in the lords home ❤️🕊️

Our dearest Brooklyn, she deserves the world. Her kindness and purity made her energy feel so welcoming. The first quarter of sophomore year, Brooklyn and I (along with some other ladies) would eat lunch together in the dance locker room. I’d always look forward to it and she always waited for others and made everyone feel included. It breaks my heart we have to share memories in past tense now. Rest easy beautiful. ❤️🩹❤️🩹

Me and Brooklyn did volleyball together out freshmen year, even though I left volleyball for basketball, I always had Brooklyn at my side, almost everyday in the hallway we would give each other a hug and catch up for a short period of time, even if it wasn’t for a long time the conversation always stuck with me, I’ll miss those hugs so much! I love you always and forever!🩷

When I first her it was at the pool last summer she was very kind and I could just Jesus in her. She was very friendly asking me all these questions bout my self but never spoke much bout her she always made others feel heard and special. The Lord takes the good ones early to keep them from suffering in the future. I believe he helped others through brooklyn while she here.
