Brooklyn was truly one of the sweetest girls ive ever met. She has always been there for me and always showed me kindness, even when no one else did. She was there for me even at my lowest and she was such a safe space for me. I could talk to her about anything, and she would never judge me. Her smile could light up a room, and i could see the light of Jesus shining through her. She was also so funny and never failed to make me laugh. im so so blessed to have gotten to know her, and she made such a positive impact on my life. if it werent for her, im not sure if id even be here today. She helped me in so many ways. ill miss that sweet girl forever and I love her so so  so much.

I always talk to her after dance in the locker room. Thursday last week was the only day of the week i had gone to school. I go to the locker room and brooklyn was always there with claire during their lunch and brooklyn always offered me her perfume when i needed it after dance. We catch up on life, we laugh, we walked to class. She was like my little sister and she was my little sisters other older sister.

We were heartbroken to hear about the loss of your beautiful daughter. While words can never truly express the depth of sorrow we feel, please know that our thoughts and hearts are with you during this unimaginably difficult time.

It is clear how special she was—bright, kind, and full of promise. We are holding your entire family in our prayers and sending you strength and love.

With deepest sympathy,

The McBryde Family

You never let a tear shed without wiping it away for someone. You changed my life in such a positive way and i will never forget you. You were so strong and I'm glad i got to be apart of your life. I love you. I know you’re going to make the sky so pretty angle. fly high brookie. ❤️🪽

Brooklyn, the last time I saw you, it was as if a bright light was entering a room. It had been a while since I had seen you, but it felt like no time had passed at all. I could feel your love, your warmth, your kindness. It was a comfort I hadn't felt in a long time.

Out of all the memories, I think my favorite was when I was babysitting you and your brother when you guys were about 4 or 5 years old. We were sitting at the dinner table, and before your mommy and daddy left for their date night, they gave me instructions to let you guys have a chocolate cake ball, your mama made, after dinner. Ryan had it all over his front teeth. I made a comment and chuckled. You saw me laughing, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw you deliberately rubbing the cake ball all over your front teeth. You stared at me to look at you and when I did... you gave me the biggest smile. 😃 It's a testament to your character. It brought you joy to make others laugh.

Although you were here for such a short time, your presence made a big impact on everyone who knew you. And your legacy will still continue to.

Brooklyn, I will never forget walking you to class when you were a freshman and I was a senior. Your smile, laughter, and kindness to everyone will always be remembered. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. As a senior, i never thought i would’ve had any friendships with freshman, but it came to a point that i felt like your big sister. it’s hard to say goodbye, especially knowing i haven’t seen you in a while, but i find peace in knowing you are with God now. your heart was pure, your spirit was full of love, and i know heaven is brighter with you there. may God guide your family and other friends through this difficult journey and allow us to keep your name alive. rest easy sweet girl🪽🩷

Brooklyn and her family are the best people I know. I am so incredibly blessed to be able to call Brooklyn my friend let alone even know her.  She is someone that I could count on and trust. Even though, our time got cut short I know she is in a better place now.

To the Rivera family, you have raised such an amazing human being and I’m so thankful for her.  Thank you for everything yall have ever done for me.

I love you Brooklyn and miss you so much 💜

My condolences to Brooklyn's family. I first met Brooklyn when I moved to guyer, and I always appreciated how welcoming she was.  I got closer with her down the school year and I’ll always keep our memories in my heart.
