Brittney's obituary
Brittney Noel Kaszynski
January 8, 1992 – January 14, 2025
"If you remember anything of me after I leave this world, remember that I loved even when it was foolish. That I cared even when it was unwanted. When my body is gone, remember my heart."
With hearts heavier than words can carry, we share the passing of Brittney Noel Kaszynski, who left this world too soon. She was a free spirit, a dreamer, a fighter, an artist, and a fiercely loyal daughter, sister, and friend who left behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Brittney was born on January 8, 1992, in Olney, Maryland, and from the very beginning, had a spirit too big to be contained—a light force, radiant, rebellious, and deeply soulful. She was an angel on earth, with a heart full of love, always ready to listen, uplift, and share her energy with those who needed it most.
She had a creative soul, pouring her emotions into art, music, and the little things that made life meaningful. Her love for music, painting, and self-expression was her way of leaving pieces of herself behind—raw, beautiful, and unforgettable. Whether it was festival nights, car rides with the bass up, or quiet moments with lyrics that understood her better than words ever could—music was home to her. Her favorite songs told stories of love, loss, resilience, and the magic of life’s in-between moments. The melodies of Jhené Aiko, Mac Miller, and Halsey reflect a soundtrack of her life. She made people feel seen through music and had a knack for finding the right song at the right time, with a smile that could light up even the darkest days.
Brittney’s love for Nature’s music showed in her unwavering love for animals, and her compassionate heart extended to every creature she encountered. She believed in signs from the universe and found deep meaning in nature—especially in birds, which she saw as messengers from beyond.
Her absence leaves an irreplaceable void in those who knew and loved her. Brittney is survived by her Mother, Danielle; Stepfather, Jeff; sister, April; and brother, Alex, who cherished her beyond words. She is also mourned by a community of friends who became family — most importantly her best friend, Christi. Their bond was unbreakable, built on years of shared adventures, unwavering support, and a love that transcended friendship. Through the highs and lows, Christi was not just a friend—she was Brittney’s safe space, her sister in spirit, and the person who knew her best.
Her heart was vast, and she had an innate ability to make everyone feel unique, seen, and understood. Those lucky enough to know her were given a gift that will remain in the echoes of her laughter, the warmth of her memories, and the music that continues to play on. She will live on in the music that moves us, the stars that watch over us, and the love she left behind—immeasurable, unforgettable, and lasting beyond time.
She will be forever defined by the love she gave so freely, the joy she found in the smallest moments, and the resilience that made her unforgettable. She taught us the value of holding onto each other, cherishing every day, and finding light even in the darkest places.
Britt’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at an outdoor gathering space in Carroll County, Maryland. Exact details will be announced soon.
