Bridgette Pownall Kraft, 61, returned to her heavenly father on March 26th, 2022. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her through life, and ultimately gave her peace. 

Bridgette was born to Earl R. Moench and Janice Juanita Jenkins in Starke, FL on November 21, 1960. In her father's absence, she was later adopted and raised by Thomas M. Pownall. She is dearly missed by her loved ones who celebrate the fact that she is now at peace with the Creator. 

Bridgette is survived by her life partner Douglas Whitehead; her mother Janice Pownall; her step-father Thomas M. Pownall; her siblings Esther and Thomas Pownall; her daughter Janice Jenkins; her sons Casey, Christian, and Kenneth Kraft; her grandchildren Lauren, Kristian, McKenzie, Mason, and Major Kraft, as well as Alice and Corey Jenkins II. She is preceded in death by her sister, Anne Cote.

Sunset funeral services will be held at the Captain's House starting at 6:00 pm on Friday, April 8th, with a Story Telling Reception to follow. Pastor Benjamin Harris of New City Church will officiate the service. 

Flowers and gifts can be sent to the Captain's House after 3:00 pm on Friday, April 8th, 2022. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation in her name to any Christian Missions or Dog Rescues.
