Brianna's obituary

Brianna Nicole Baine, born May 27, 1988, passed away on August 28, 2025, at the age of 37 after a courageous battle with cancer. She left us far too soon, but her light and love will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her. Brianna was born at HEB Hospital in Bedford, Texas, and grew up in Burleson. She graduated from Burleson High School and then attended the University of North Texas, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She also obtained postgraduate education in Medical Sciences at UNT Health Sciences Center in Fort Worth.

Brianna was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, partner, teacher, and friend. She shared her life with her partner, Louis Strack of Fort Worth, and her beloved son, Charlie Strack, age 3. She is also survived by her parents, Ralph Baine and his wife Jennifer of Fort Worth, and Beverly Mason and her husband Al of Justin. Brianna’s sisters — Brittany Walker and her husband Mark of Dallas, Jessica Armstrong and her husband Joel of Garland, and Piper Baine of Fort Worth — will forever cherish her memory, as will her treasured nieces Stella and Scarlett Walker of Dallas, her surviving grandparents, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Brianna’s career and her spirit came to life when she became a teacher. It was a love she didn’t expect, and she dedicated her career to teaching physics and biology at H. Grady Spruce High School in Dallas. She inspired countless students with her curiosity, compassion, and belief in the power of lifelong learning.

Brianna’s strength and compassion for others defined her life. She had an extraordinary smile and a sense of humor that brought joy to everyone she met. Her memory will be held dearly by all who were blessed to know her. The world will forever be changed because of her presence, her teaching, and the love she has left behind.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at The Magnolia, 1101 W. Magnolia Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor and remember Brianna’s beautiful spirit.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Texas Oncology Foundation, NoKidHungry.org, or to a 529 education fund established for her son, Charlie. https://gift.my529.org/PBA7X6
