It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian "Painterpants" Vogt, on the very day of his 61st birthday, October 4, 2023. Known affectionately to many as 'Painterpants', Brian was a beam of warmth, intelligence, and unwavering dedication. He left an indelible mark on the lives he touched, both professionally and personally, and will be profoundly missed.

Born on October 4, 1962, Brian was a man of immense talent and hard work. Known for his remarkable intelligence, he was a mentor and guide to many. As one person put it, "Brian taught me lots of things. He was so smart." His wisdom and knowledge, generously shared with those around him, made him an irreplaceable pillar in our lives.

Brian's professional achievements were nothing short of remarkable. In his field, his work was held as the gold standard, exquisite in its execution. His superb talent was recognized at the local paint fair, where he held a standing record for winning several years in a row. Every project he undertook was marked with his signature diligence and skill, a testament to his exceptional talent.

But Brian's legacy extends far beyond his professional achievements. He had an extraordinary bearing on people's lives, effecting change with his gentle demeanor and personable approach. His presence was a blessing in our lives. One person beautifully encapsulated what Brian meant to them, "He was a wonderful gentle man. I will miss all of him. He gave me so much love and knowledge. Learning from him is what I'll miss the most."
