I have so many stories as Brian and Kelley lives two doors down from us for about 10 years. This story is one of my most precious of Brian and I.
I had the hardest of mornings as I had driven and just gotten back home from Metro Airport to drop Doug off for his flight to come to Havre, MT to report for his new job with the Border Patrol where we were to be separated for over a year. I was sitting in my backyard of course just balling my eyes out and who comes over to sit with me. He held me and cried me with for me for along time. This big guy sheds tears while we held each other. Brian loved Doug and I am forever grateful as I couldn’t have faced that morning alone.
Brian also spent that fall/winter helping me pack up our garage and all of Dougs tools. And let me tell you, there we a lot. He counted the tape measures as we put them in the box. 59, and I of course was just throw some of this out! Brian won, he told me Doug would know if anything was missing!! And of course, he would have.
Kelley, Danielle, Kevin, Bev, Frank, Sheri, Deb and everyone I failed to mentioned. Your husband/father/son/brother/friend/neighbor was loved by the Garden family. We were so very blessed the day we moved two houses down. We didn’t know very special that neighborhood was or the how important that time in our life was. Doug, myself and our children are so very heartbroken and this doesn’t seem real. We wish we could be there to celebrate his life with you all. 😢😢
I hope this story shows how very special Brian was to us. As much love he gave us, he was loved back just as much, maybe more. They never stopped loving us even though we moved so far away. They came out to visit us here, they would always find time for us when we came into town.
You guys are loved so very much by the Garden family.
Love you bunches (My mama used to say that) xoxo ❤️❤️
