Brian's obituary

Brian Keith Taylor passed away peacefully in his home on 03/04/2025 at the age of 53. He is survived by his wife, Nicki Taylor; daughter, Madison Taylor; father, Dusty Taylor; and close aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was born at Cox North on 10/13/1971. His childhood in Springfield, Missouri, instilled a lifelong passion for cars of all shapes and sizes, particularly Studebakers, his family, his dogs (Jake and Elwood), and he loved to speak about them with anyone who would listen. Brian participated in Springfield Street Machines, Ozark Trails Studebaker Drivers club, the International Studebaker Drivers Club, 417 Slot Car Club, Local Model club, M.O.S.S., and many online model building clubs. Brian and Nicki first met and bonded over their mutual friends and continued to share this throughout their long and happy marriage.

He leaves behind one child, Madison Taylor. He was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Taylor (Mace); and grandparents, Melba Ann (Brookshire), Leo Mace; Evelyn Cleo (Lawson), and John Howard Taylor.

His Celebration of Life will be Saturday, April 12th 10am-2pm at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in the Center Hall of the E-Plex. All friends and family are welcome.
