Brian's obituary

In Loving Memory of Brian Allen Strock

December 25, 1978 – February 25, 2025

Brian Allen Strock, of Frederick, Colorado, passed away at the age of 46 on February 25, 2025. Born on December 25, 1978, in Ripon, Wisconsin, Brian lived a life rooted in family and community.

He graduated from Downers Grove North High School and went on to attend the United States Air Force Academy, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies. Brian served his country proudly as a Captain in the United States Air Force, embodying the values of leadership and integrity.

On October 2, 2004, Brian married the love of his life, Katie. Together, they raised two sons, Brayden (17) and Evan (13), building a home filled with laughter, love, and lifelong memories. Brian’s career in property management at CBRE and Lillibridge showcased his talent for leadership and his commitment to excellence.

Brian was a lifelong Chicago sports fan. His love for the Bears, Cubs, Blackhawks, and Bulls was unrivaled, and Wrigley Field held a special place in his heart. For him, it was more than a ballpark—it was a place of tradition and joy.

Beyond his professional accomplishments and fandom, Brian found immense fulfillment in coaching. He poured his heart into mentoring young athletes, coaching many of his sons’ baseball, basketball, and football teams. He also served as an assistant coach for the Skyline High School varsity football team. Whether on the field or the sidelines, Brian found great joy in helping kids learn, grow, and gain confidence each season. His impact as a coach and role model will be felt for years to come.

Brian is survived by his beloved wife, Katie; his sons, Brayden and Evan; his father, Steven Strock; his mother, Stella; grandmother Carole; his brothers, Jeremy Leu and Adam Tufts; his sister, Stephanie Newman; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Although many of Brian's family and friends lived far away, he always held them close to his heart and spoke often of memories.

Brian's legacy lives on in the lives he touched—through his family, his teams, and the countless friendships he forged along the way. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
