Brian spent a lot of time at our house with me, my brother Jake, and Mark Powell. We had a fooseball table in the basement and would play that thing all night. We even made a championship trophy out of a paper plate Brian drew a fooseball player on. We set up the competition like they did in WWF/WWE and had to play our way up to challenge the champion for the title. When you wine the title, you got to sign your name on the back and then put a tally for every title defense. We had that plate for years and battled over it daily. No idea whatever happened to it.

We haven't really talked much since the 90s, but back then, Brian and I were Jr High School buddies at Sproul. I spent 7th grade there with Brian and a few others like Candace, which was a high point for me during the start of a pretty chaotic time in my life. We were just some weird kids who goofed off and talked about cartoons like Garfield (it was a phase) and comics, among other things, like Pogs. Random memories appear like snapshots of my time at Sproul. Over the years, the memories have become fuzzy with details, but I do know that we were good school friends, the kind who went out of our way to connect each day and hang out after school when we had the chance. I only spent that one school year there, but my time there and our friendship made an impression on my life. I see all the love and support from Brian's friends and family, and I can tell Brian has impacted so many people and will continue to do so even though he's gone. Rest In Peace.

I never forgot Brian. Even after all these years passed by. I'm so sad about this. 💔
