Charlotte, I am truly sorry for you and your family’s loss. I am so grateful to have been able to meet Brian thru Mel. I will remember Brian as a fun, patient, caring and generous person who always made me feel welcome when we got together. My thoughts are with all of you at this time.

Harry Watson. Brian, a very special best friend. A world traveler and fishing partner for 30 years who's constant smile and humor added so much to every trip and adventure we were on. He will be sadly missed by the Metro group, but the memories will always keep us close.
Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with the family in this time of sorrow.

My deepest condolences to Charlotte, Kelly, Melanie and Kayla. I’m Brian’s sister-in-law, I have so many memories too many to relay but what stands out over and above others is Brian’s magnanimous spirit always kind, loving willing to help. He was fun and adventurous and Mike and I loved spending our holidays with both Charlotte and Brian enjoying so many activities. Brian you will be greatly missed. We are heartbroken you were taken so soon.

Uncle Brian, now that he is gone I have all these memories flooding- all good, and truly I will miss and loved him dearly. He always helped- whether I was in Vancouver for a few hours and needed a ride to and from somewhere, or I had a question, I could just text him and he’d be there.
A memory that keeps popping up is when I went to visit with the family for a week when I was younger and Uncle Brian came home from Costco with a bouncy castle for the backyard- Melanie, Kelly, and Cayla were so excited and Auntie Charlotte was trying to figure out how the heck a bouncy castle would fit in the back yard. An odd memory to keep circulating, but I think it reminds me how much he loved to have fun and wanted his family to be apart of that.
I have many memories of Uncle Brian- I am thankful he will always be in my childhood and my heart.

My condolences to Charlotte and family. I loved the way Brian lived life; as a good friend, business colleage, sport enthusiast (golf, fishing and wine) and family man !! We'll all feel the loss of such a great guy!!

My condolences to Charlotte and Brian's family. I first met Brian when working as a Civil Engineering Inspector and discovered that we both liked to play the occasional game of golf. This turned into us playing together most Sunday mornings in a friendly skins game ( Brian loved to play for a few bucks especially with Garry Haverty ) and I know Brian will be missed very much by all his Sunday golf buddies!
