Brian's obituary

Brian Jennings Sizemore, 58, of Richmond, Texas, went to his heavenly home on October 23, 2025. Born on July 7, 1967, Brian lived a full and joyful life marked by laughter, love, devotion to his family, and a steadfast faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Melisa S. Sizemore; his son, Kendall Jennings Sizemore, and daughter-in-law, Lauren Sizemore; and their children, Sawyer Jennings Sizemore, Emerson Grace Sizemore, and Liam Anthony Sizemore, who brought him immense pride and joy. He is also survived by his cherished daughter, Kailey Elise Sizemore; his loving mother, Wanda Eileen Sizemore; his sisters, Daphney J. Kirby and Wendy D. Sidwell-Sizemore; his sister-in-law, Renee Sanders, and her husband, Steve; and his brother-in-law, Tim Hoyt. Brian was loved by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. He was welcomed into heaven by his father, Jennings Larry Sizemore, and his grandparents Ralph and Pauline Sadler, Jennings and Alease Sizemore.

A 1986 graduate of Katy High School, Brian was known for his quick wit and his ability to light up any room. He had a gift for making others feel welcome and at ease. A true Texan at heart, he cheered for the Houston Texans and Houston Astros through every season. He loved to travel and was always ready for a new adventure, especially when it meant making memories while fishing with those he loved.

Brian treasured his family. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and an adoring grandfather whose love and joy will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched. Above all, Brian’s greatest love was for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. You could often find him in his living room singing praise and worship with his whole heart. His laughter, kindness, and zest for life will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
