I am very sorry to see that Brian has passed. I knew him from the Marine Corps when we were stationed in Okinawa, Japan. I remember him as a squared away Marine when we were on the Camp Henoko Security Force. Brian had a good sense of humor, and we joked around a lot.
Im Brian's son Brandon, Although you weren't there growing up, I forgive you and I'm happy I told you that in person the last time we met 😊 your the reason I'm here and got to meet Uncle Rick, Cara and Tyler. It's was nice getting to know you later in life. Your passing was so sudden and sad, May you rest in peace 🙏
Sometimes Brian would actually make us laugh just by imitating our dad or grandma. He was so good at it too. Brian had this thing with one of his eyes. When he ate the eyelid would move. Sometimes us kids would tease him about it and he would all laugh. Those are the kind of memories I will love about our oldest brother. The laughter. God speed Brian.
Brian would come over to visit us often when he was able to get around easier. Other than enjoying the company of family and friends, he really enjoyed our pets almost as much as him and Rick’s cats & dogs. Brian’s zest for house pets was undeniable. Just seeing his face light up being around the critters was an awesome thing. Even though things weren’t perfect and at times rocky, Brian would sometimes find a way to crack a joke or lighten the mood.
