It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Johnson, who left us peacefully on April 10, 2026. Born in 1956, Brian led an extraordinary and vibrant life that matched his personality. He was a compassionate and empathetic soul, always thinking of others and his beloved cat, Sam, including two strays from the neighborhood before himself. He was always striving to put a smile on the faces of those he encountered.

Brian was predeceased by his loving parents, Raymond Merrill Johnson and Mary Lucille Johnson. He leaves behind his devoted brother, David Alan Johnson, cherished son, Anthony Johnson, and adored daughter, Angela Riggs. Brian's legacy lives on through them, and his grandchildren, and his influence will continue to be felt within his family and community for a very long time.

Brian's passions in life were as varied as they were plentiful. A lover of food, he had a particular fondness for fried clams, fries, and shrimp, and would never turn down an ice-cold beer. His musical tastes ranged from the rousing beats of Steppenwolf's 'Born to be Wild' to the soothing notes of Enya's 'Only Time'.  He was an ardent fan of 'The Man from UNCLE', 'Star Trek', and 'Then Came Bronson' TV shows, and could often be found reminiscing about iconic films like 'Easy Rider', 'Fists of Fury', and 'Enter the Dragon'.

When not indulging in his favorite media, Brian found relaxation and enjoyment in a myriad of activities. He loved fishing and spending quality time with his neighborhood friends. His enthusiasm for martial arts not only kept him fit when he was younger but also fostered a sense of discipline and respect that he brought into all areas of his life.

Among the causes closest to Brian's heart was helping others, including animals. His embodiment of selflessness and generosity will inspire all who knew him for years to come. Brian was a man of incredible heart, whose warmth and kindness will be deeply missed. His life was a testament to the power of empathy and compassion, and those who had the privilege to know him will forever cherish his memory.
