Just a normal school day…I stayed home from school sick but Brian didn’t see that as a good enough reason for us not to go for a street bike ride. 🥳 I hopped on the back of his Kawasaki GSXR and we flew down to the old Camarillo State Hospital - now known to many as Cal State Channel Islands University.  On our way back, pushing 120+mph, the front tire hit a patch of concrete on the asphalt and we were down.  The firefighters who showed up to rescue us estimated that we slid on the asphalt for at least a football field and it was amazing that we lived to tell about it.  Somehow Brian even managed to ride his crashed bike back home with crooked handle bars.  He was crazy; in a good way of course!  This was just one of many occasions that Brian defeated death.  He lived a lot of life in his 47 years. He did things that most people wouldn’t get to experience in 80 years of life.  If anyone lived life to the fullest, it was my big brother ❤️ There are no words to describe the void left by his passing. The lights in my life are forever dimmer with him gone. I miss him every hour of every day, but I’m sure Mom was glad to get him back ⛅️ Love you forever Bri! 🏍️
