Brian's obituary

Brian Neil Allen, 27, passed away in Hoover, Alabama, on June 3, 2025, after a battle with depression, leaving behind a circle of family and friends who loved him deeply. He was born in Reno, Nevada, to Mark and Stephanie Allen.

Though his time with us was far too short, Brian left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He will be remembered for his wild sense of humor, his unforgettable presence, and the way he made life feel a little more chaotic in the best possible way just by being in it.

Brian is survived by his parents, Mark and Stephanie; his brothers, Anthony and Justin; his sisters, Gabby (Trevor) and Shelby; his nephew, Noah; and his nieces, Aria and Piper. He also leaves behind a whole crew of family and friends who will keep his memory alive with loud laughter, bad jokes, and stories that grow more outrageous with every retelling.

Growing up, Brian was involved in karate, track and field, band, where his love of music grew, and even a semester of collegiate wrestling. Among other activities, Brian had a deep love for cats, UFC, and playing Orbeez wars with his brother and nephew. He was an avid gamer and always ready for a match of chess or pool, even though he’d never admit it if he lost. He loved to play and write music, often calling at all hours to share a new song he’d learned.

On a road trip back from Texas, Brian made everyone listen to Wagon Wheel by Darius Rucker for six straight hours, forever linking the song to his name. He had a knack for sending obscure videos months before they went viral, making late-night McDonald's runs for a Caramel Frappe and a Big Mac, and filling every room in his home with lemon-scented candles.

Brian was weird, he was funny, he was kind, and most of all, he was unforgettable. He had a way of showing up in your life like a storm and a spotlight all at once, and whether you knew him for years or just a moment, he made an impression. He was deeply loved by everyone who knew him, and the world feels a little quieter without him in it, but so much brighter because he was ever here at all.

There will be a celebration of life for Brian on August 30th 2025

We will all carry a piece of him in our hearts and in our memories.♡
