I remember a group of us were having a get together on Halloween. It was snowing like crazy and we decided to go out and play football in the snow. That is one memory that I think about whenever it is snowing those big fluffy flakes. I'm not sure what made me think of that on this beautiful spring day. Just one of so many great memories of this wonderful friend gone way too soon.

Dear Meek family. So sorry to hear about Brian. It is so difficult to lose a loved one. He will be remembered by all who knew and loved him. Mike and I have fond memories of times spent with the Meek family in Yampa. You were so loving and supportive to us as new teachers. The boys and Bill helped us move in. We were invited to many meals at your house and invited to Yampa Bible Church, which we loved. Mike remembered Brian as being such a good student and leader and he will always remember the concerts and band trips they took together when he was in his class. Sending our love and prayers to you during this difficult time. Cathy & Mike Lewis

Our family, especially Sam benefitted from his divinely led vision for FRCS. Your teamwork Rene is why he could be confident to step out into thin air and into the Lord's plans for your lives and ours. We all have cherished memories! We are shocked and saddened by Brian's shortened life. We watched you all during his service honor him and share with us your heartache. Thank You! ❣️
God Bless you all as you grieve and cherish all your memories 🙏

Mr Meek, you were such a wonderful and Godly man. All the wonderful things your family said about you today and the legacy you left here…..I just hope that I can be a light like you, have the words of encouragement that you did, the patience, and live my life for God, just like you.
From Fort Collins, no goodbye, just until we meet again.

Brian took my place as Treasurer for Fort Collins MasterPeace, and brought great leadership and professionalism to the role, I often teased him for being “youthful”… mainly because he was mature beyond his years. He was a class act! I’m thankful Brian’s battle is over and has graduated to eternity with Jesus!

I am so deeply heartbroken at this loss. Mr. Meek was so dearly loved. Not many are chosen to serve the Lord as he was, and his legacy will be a memorial of that calling for generations. Countless lives have been touched not only by his ministry through FRCS, but also by the wonderful family that he and Mama Meek have built.
I’ll always be grateful for his kindness as President of FRCS, my basketball coach, and as a father to his wonderful family and all who entered their house.
My love and prayers to the entire Meek family. I pray you feel His comfort as you grieve.

Brian certainly left his mark in the world and for the Kingdom and I am heartbroken that we have lost him too soon. He was my friend, co-laborer, direct supervisor, and my work husband for many years at FRCS. We celebrated, laughed, made mistakes, cried, prayed, and dreamed together. I will never forget him asking me back in about 1995 when the school was still in infancy, “Do you ever feel like you’re in the middle of something BIG that God is doing?” We agreed that, yes, we felt it every day.
Rene, I pray that you and your family will know the deep peace and comfort that our Heavenly Father provides.
