I’m so grateful for the amazing example Brian and Jeanette showed me during my time at Crossroads with them. Their love was a shining beacon, not just for our family, but for everyone lucky enough to know them.
I still remember the first time I really noticed their kindness when I was about thirteen. At one of our church potlucks, I watched how they welcomed everyone with open arms and genuine smiles. It struck me—“Is this what the Bible is talking about when it says to show others the love of Christ?” The way they embraced and included everyone really embodied what love is all about, reminding me just how powerful kindness can be.
Brian had a special way of making everyone feel valued. His stories brought so much joy, and Jeanette’s warm, nurturing spirit made every gathering feel like a family reunion. Together, they created an atmosphere of welcoming love that touched us all.
Jeanette, as we remember Brian, I want you to know how much you both meant to me. Your warmth and kindness continue to inspire me to this day. Thank you for sharing your beautiful love with all of us.

Dearest Jeanette, what loss you have and are suffering through. I know of sudden death as Collin died of a brain bleed the day after walking Stephanie down the aisle in Colorado on September 29. I am grieving with you and praying for you even as you must still be grieving over the loss of Shellie. Please feel free to reach out to me via email .

I was very sad when I heard the news of Brian's passing. There are few people I remember with such fondness. I consider Brian a good friend and a strong Christian brother. We once scuba dove together and shared many hours of good conversation in church. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a great love of life. While I regret not spending more time with him in recent years he will be missed. I am assured that of all my friends he is in great joy right now resting in God’s amazing presence in the comfort and beauty of Heaven. I hope to see him again one day.
