I remember Brian as a high school senior sitting on a desk in advanced math with Jack Kalpakian in jeans and a collared shirt working math problems on a chalk board. Even then he was poised, classy, and wickedly smart. How cool and composed. It was neat to be around him even then. He was a soul apart. What a class act!
