Background
My son who passed away did not have any life insurance, and we need to come up with $7000.00
for his funeral expenses, and I just found out no money for a headstone which is another $1800.00.
Brian Eugene Queen, 56, of Sioux City, IA, passed away on March 24, 2024, at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 27th at 10:00 a.m. at Cornerstone World Outreach Church. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 5-8:00 p.m. at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. The burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
Brian Eugene Queen was born on February 23, 1968, at Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, CA. to parents, Emmett and Barbara (Calhoun) Queen. He moved to Sioux City, IA, and was united in marriage to Tina Harris on July 14, 1997. Brian worked as an industrial painter, painting everything from Ocean Tankers to Train Cars, amongst other jobs in Siouxland including his favorite job as a security guard for Tyson. Brian was known as a “baby whisperer” and could often be found napping with a baby on his chest. He also enjoyed his Fast cars, Harley motorcycles, cooking for every occasion, constantly smoking meats just to try a new recipe, and most of all, he loved spending time with his family and most importantly he loved God and was always finding some way to express the love of Jesus.
Those left to honor his memory include his parents; Barbara Queen and Emmett Queen; his wife, Tina Queen; children: Matthew Queen (son), Heather Queen-Fazio (daughter), Michael Queen (son), Leslie Raizola (daughter), Hali Queen (daughter), Trinitie Harris (daughter), Marc Queen (son), and his 14 beautiful grandbabies!
9He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Mauris & Violet Calhoun and William & Margaret Queen; stepfather, James Brehm; sister, Breyanna; cousin, Kevin Lear; best friend & cousin, Jade Fields. Contribute
for his funeral expenses, and I just found out no money for a headstone which is another $1800.00.
