Brian's obituary

Brian Craig, age 70, of Cornelius, North Caroline passed away at Mitchell Mack House Hospice on February 11, 2024 from pancreatic cancer.

Born on February 6, 1954 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to Neil and Eunice Craig (Batley). Brian is survived by this wife, Carol Ann Craig, who he called the love of his life. He also leaves behind sister Kim (Al), daughters Stephanie (Mike), Tracy (Daniel), Alexis (Warren), and 4 grandchildren. Brian was an intelligent man. Always one to want to do his “research” prior to making a decision, he valued logic and practicality. Growing up, Brian was an active member of the Scouts Canada (formally Boy Scouts), earning the Duke of Edinburgh award through his work with Rovers. He was proud to share his Scouting skills with his children whenever he had the chance. He also enjoyed imparting his financial skills as a chartered accountant, particularly through board games such as Monopoly. In his later years, Brian was an active member of the church, and found peace in his relationship with God.

The family would like to thank the nursing and care team at Mitchell Mack Hospice House for taking such good care of Brian in his final weeks.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that people donate to Canadian Cancer Society (https://cancer.ca/en/ways-to-…) Scouts Canada (https://www.scouts.ca/donate/…) or Mitchell Mack Hospice House (https://apps.hoic.org/donate-…
