Brian's obituary

Brian Bartsch, age 54, passed away in Omaha, Nebraska, on May 3, 2025. He was born April 27, 1971, to James and Esther (Schultz) Bartsch in Dallas, TX.

Brian lived many places growing up but lived in Omaha all of his adult life with his wife and children. Brian's passion was God's Word above all else. He had a gift of teaching and blessed many people as he encouraged them to be students of the Word. He also enjoyed history, politics, theology, the Dallas Cowboys and smoking meat.

Brian is survived by his wife, Christa Bartsch; children, Matthew (Kendal) Bartsch, Jonathon Bartsch, Katie (Jonathan) Krutz, Sarah (Brandon) Shippy, and Emily Bartsch; grandchildren, Melody and Wally; parents, James and Esther Bartsch; siblings, Dave (Jen) Bartsch, Jeff (Chantel) Bartsch, and Erica (Cornel) Tuns; and a host of family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Crosspoint Bible Church, 7820 Fort St, Omaha, NE 68134. Private family internment.
