Brian's obituary

                             BRIAN ADAM DERIEMACKER

                  MAY 5, 2008    -    SEPTEMBER 19, 2025.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian Adam Deriemacker, age 37, of Sterling Heights, Mi. Brian passed unexpectedly at home on Friday, September 19, 2025. He was born on May 5, 2088 to Lisa Joy (Young) Deriemacker of Sterling Heights and Gregory James Deriemacker of Pensacola, Florida. Brian was the youngest of four Son's. The boy's were always there for each other, no matter what. They all counted on one another and were taught.. no matter what, they all had each other for life. There will forever be a void in this Deriemacker family. Brian was funny, kind, caring and he loved the outdoors and fishing. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his four nieces and one nephew, whom he truly adored. Those who knew Brian, even just a little, have lost a shining light in their lives. Brian will be deeply missed by his parents Lisa and Greg, his brothers Christopher and his fiance Rachel from Harrison Twp, Matthew and sister-in-law Meghan from St. Clair Shores, Andrew from Sterling Heights, his nieces Destiny, Isabelle, Madilynn and Zoey, nephew, Christopher Jr., a few family members and many friends. A service will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Grace Memorial Crematorium in St. Clair Shores, Mi. The Deriemacker family will never be whole again. They have lost one of the most important pieces of their puzzle.. the youngest, most looked after and beloved of the original four. He was the baby of the family, his Mother's best friend, best buds with Andrew.. they had lived together so long and he had always looked up to his two eldest brother's. When they were all together.. the four of them, they were at their very best. Almost like young kids again, they were their goofiest, sometimes trickiest, pulling silly little pranks on one another. They laughed their hardest, were their most honest, most raw, definitely most loving and of course their most protective of one another. Sadly, Brian had gone through many health issues in his short life. A horrendous car accident, as the passenger when he was just 16, left him suffering with life long pain from a broken back and leg and ankle put back together by screws. Type 2 Diabetes that put him into a two week coma in which he lost sight in one of his eyes, taking him over a year to recover.. most of that year bedridden with infections that he never fully recovered from. The diabetes, all the medication and daily shots and Brian's overall health issues took a toll on him, both physically and mentally. Though at the time, he had actually been feeling quite well. He had been working with some new Doctor's and was looking forward to a brighter, happier, hopefully healthier future. He often shared his hopes and dreams of the future with his Mother.. sometimes his family. Needless to say.. we are completely heartbroken at this unexpected loss. We are lost!  "There are no goodbyes for us.. Wherever you are you will always be in our hearts."
