Brent's obituary

Brent Edwin White was born on May 9, 1964 in Los Angeles, California to the late Leola Mae White and Bennett Price. He was a resident of Reserve, La and formerly of Ama, La and Quito, Ecuador. He was a native of Paradis, La. He attended and graduated from Hahnville High School in 1982. After school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps being stationed in Jacksonville, Florida and San Diego, California. He married Karen Johnson in 1991. Their union produced 2 children: Sharday Renea White-Kaplan and Tevin Edwin White. Brent was employed with the St. Charles Parish recreational department and later the water works department from which he retired in 2012. He enjoyed playing dominoes, cards, helping friends and family with household projects, listening to old school R&B and funk music, and entertaining those in his circle with his antics. He leaves to cherish his memories to his children, Sharday and Tevin, former spouse, Karen, of Ama, grandchildren, Malik Stewart and Levi Fisher, son-in-law, Ibrahim Kaplan, devoted best friend Carlos Watkins of LaPlace,La, and a host of dedicated nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, former family in-law and extended family members. He transitioned to his heavenly home on July 18, 2023 at his residence. Preceded in death by his parents, Leola White and Bennett Price, his sister Marion Ettienne Price, his aunts Lois White-Gibbs, Rosalind White-Johnson,  Ethel White-Davis; Uncles, Cleveland White, Sr and Harold White. Cremation services entrusted to Patrick Sanders Funeral Home & Funeral Directors of LaPlace,La. The family will not hold a service, but plan to spread his ashes at his birthplace privately.
