Background
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Dad, Brent Turner, who departed from this world on April 18th following an unforeseen heart attack.
His heart attack occurred suddenly on a Sunday morning while he sought rest. Despite undergoing three emergency heart surgeries, including airlifting to a specialized facility and undergoing comprehensive treatments to support his failing heart, the damage proved insurmountable. After four days on life support, surrounded by his family, he peacefully transitioned on Thursday evening.
Dad was a man of quiet strength and boundless compassion, whose love for his family knew no bounds. He devotedly supported Mom in all her endeavors and found joy in spending time with his children and grandchildren, nurturing their passions and sharing in their adventures. Family trips were treasured moments, and his generous spirit extended to helping those in need.
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 18th in Provo Canyon, where we will honor and cherish his memory. Further details will follow.
We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this challenging time. Mom, who bravely stood by his side throughout his ordeal, left their planned vacation in Hawaii upon his first heart attack, ensuring he received the best possible care. She remained in Hawaii for additional days after his passing, organizing arrangements with a local funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted to support Mom in facing the financial burdens and emotional strain exacerbated by this tragic loss.
