Brent's obituary
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Dr. Brent Tucker who passed away on May 20, 2024. Born on November 17, 1959, he lived a vibrant life marked by kindness, wit, patience and a strong dedication to helping others.
Dr. Tucker led a distinguished career in counseling psychology, earning a doctorate in his chosen field and guiding countless people towards healing and growth, especially children. Despite his quiet demeanor, his impact was profound, and his legacy of kindness and generosity echoes on.
An avid equestrian, he cherished horseback riding and watching Tennessee Walkers horse competitions. Any place where horses roamed was his ideal vacation spot, although he also enjoyed trips to visit other cultures like Havana, Cuba, Montreal, Canada, Tipperary, Ireland, Bahrain, and most recently Rome, Italy.
Dr. Tucker appreciated the simple pleasures in life. He enjoyed home-made biscuits, anything cooked by his mother, Martha Dupree, and savored Italian cuisine. He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Claudia Tucker. He also leaves behind his caring mother, Martha Dupree; his supportive sister, Cynthia Choate; and his brother-in-law, Brian Choate. He will be missed by his in-laws Patrick Ford, Dorothy Ford, Robert Ford, Dominick Russo, Jr., Gay Ford, and Adee Russo. He was predeceased by his father, John Tucker; step-father, James Dupree; and his beloved niece, Kristin Trout. He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
