Brent's obituary
It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brent L. Pugh on November 3, 2024 at the age of 63. Brent led a full life, taking each day and challenge head on. This included his battle with cancer. Brent was diagnosed and had been undergoing treatment for liver cancer since 2022 at Advent Health.
God ultimately called his child home. Our beloved Brent is happy and free, spreading his angel wings in heaven.
Brent was born April 28, 1961 and raised in Battle Creek, Michigan by his mother and father. He loved racing motorcycles as a kid. His father nicknamed him “Cruiser”.
After graduating from Harper Creek High School in 1979, Brent moved to Sherman Oaks, CA with his good friend, Nick Rouse and worked to learn the electrician trade.
From there, Brent moved to Houston, TX, where he met and married Isabel Flores. They had two sons Brent, Jr, born April 1981 and Brian born November 1983. Both currently reside in Spring, TX.

Grandchildren: Hailee, Melanie and Parker.
In 1999, the family moved to Chuluota, FL where many life-long family friendships were made and where he resided until his passing.
Brent worked striping parking lots all over Central Florida. We never went anywhere that he didn’t proudly point out a job he had done. He was one of the best and trained many others as well. He worked with The Hall Company, SunRay Paving, Seminole Paving and A1 Striping.
Brent loved sports. He stayed true to the Detroit Lions, Tigers, Redwings and the Michigan Wolverines.
He also loved to play billiards. He played in the APA league. His team won the regionals and went on to Las Vegas in 1997, 1999 and again in 2001 for the championship.
Our hearts are broken to lose such a beautiful soul who was loved by so many. Brent’s heart was filled with unconditional love. His charismatic and joyful personality would have everyone around him smiling. Brent loved his family unconditionally. He gave constant support and encouragement.
