Brent Lynn Layton, age 43, of Magna, UT passed away March 13, 2022. He is survived by his father and mother Sharman and Karen Layton, brother, Brian R Holtz, sister, Jennifer J(Brad) Barclay, his partner, Rebecca Peterson and her son, Marcus Marelli.
Brent grew up in South Ogden, UT and later moved to Reno, NV where he attended McQueen high. He lived in Magna, UT  where he enjoyed hiking, hanging out at home, karaoke at the local joint and playing with his dogs, Yeager and Whiskey. Brent may have had some struggles, but lived life to the fullest. Brent loved forging and making knives for his family and friends. He would do anything for his family, friends, coworkers and loved them all. He made everyone who knew him laugh, cry, and enjoy all the stories he shared.
Our family is praying that Brent is finally at peace.
Services will be held at Kaysville cemetery on March 26th at 11 am, all are welcome.
