James Brendan McCarley
10/15/1976 – 2/21/2022
Brendan McCarley, 45, of Chandler, Arizona, passed unexpectedly at his home on February 21st, 2022.
Brendan was born on October 15th, 1976 to James and Judith McCarley in Albion, Michigan.
He graduated from Albion High School in 1995 and Albion College in 1999. Brendan was most proud of his career achievements as a Senior Commercial Loan Officer for Bank of America, specializing in dental and veterinary practices, which eventually took him from Columbus, Ohio to Chandler, Arizona.
In 2010, he met his wife Allison whom he wed on August 1st, 2015 in Scottsdale, Arizona. They were proud parents to two fur babies, Bullmastiff Mia and English Mastiff Keegan who brought Brendan much joy. He was a talented cook and loved being creative in the kitchen, even dabbling in growing his own produce. He was a nature lover who enjoyed fly fishing with his father and brother Andrew in Michigan where they had a family cabin during his youth. He loved traveling with his wife and dogs. Football Saturdays you would always find him rooting for the Fighting Irish, win or lose.
Brendan always maintained a boyish charm, had an infectious smile and a beautiful, loving soul. He was a loyal, loving husband, son, brother, uncle, friend and doggie daddy with the biggest heart. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Brendan is preceded in death by his father, James F. McCarley; his sister, Erin Cathleen McCarley and grandparents John Francis McCarley, Marybelle Ward McCarley and Mary Ridenour Burger.
He is survived by his wife, Allison (Williams) McCarley; his mother Judith McCarley Ort; Step-Father Larry Ort; Step-Mother Judith Lockyer; three brothers: Michael McCarley, Patrick McCarley (Yan), Andrew McCarley; three nieces: Lauren McCarley, Lindsay McCarley and Alyssa McCarley and sister-in-law, Leslie Ippolito McCarley.
