So glad our paths crossed. I will always cherish our visits, often with a cold root beer and some candy from your candy dish. You will be missed greatly.
I loved sitting with Brenda and talking to her. I could pass hours with her. I loved her vitality and how very much she lived. It seems that Brenda was never quite where she was supposed to be. If she was told to rest she was at her church doing for her community. Even the last time we visited her, we were taken to her room but she was not there. We found her outside watching the leaves just start to fall and listening to the birds. Brenda was too busy living and most importantly, loving, to be slowed down. I am so glad to have gotten to know her and to love her.
We met Brenda at chair volleyball at Lancaster First United Methodist Church. Brenda was a lot of fun & always very positive. If you asked how she was, no matter what she was going through, she always answered "I am blessed". We will meet again.
