As a child, I thought my older cousins, Brenda and Sharon, were soo amazing and beautiful. As an adult, my perspective never really changed. I always viewed Brenda as setting the example that I tried to follow - as a Christian, lady, and mom. My daughter, Arielle, was awed by her as well. In the last couple years, when confronted with tough and frightening health challenges and daily frustrations that made those who loved her want to cry, she still was able to continue to find and express genuine joy. I will always treasure the memory of her beautiful smile. May God be with Wayne and each of her loved ones now during this difficult time and until we are with Brenda again.
Brenda was my big sister for 70 years. She was always a good example for me to follow! As teenagers we spent countless hours sharing everything that was going on in our lives! As adults we were still close. I will really miss her hugs, laughter, and her sharing all of her traveling experiences. Rest sweet angel in the arms of God.
Please accept my condolences in this time of mourning . God Bless Brendas beautiful soul. God bless and give her loved ones the needed strength to ease the pain of their loss. Ed

As members of Eastside Baptist Church we send our thoughts and prayers to you Wayne and your family. How blessed you were to have so many wonderful years together.
We did not have the honor of knowing Brenda but she was in our daily prayers. She was a beautiful Christian example of courage and strength during her life and the peace and joy which the Lord Jesus Christ gave her as she faced her last days was such a great example of His love for her. Blessings to all of you.
