Brenda Elaine Shealy, 58, died peacefully in the arms of her lifelong love John Terry Shealy (Terry) on July 31, 2024.

Brenda was born June 15, 1966, to the late John Briggs Strickland (Jack) and Doris Anne Strickland.

Brenda grew up in Charleston, SC a bright and spirited young lady with an unbridled passion to live life to the fullest. Her joy of life was fulfilled by the overwhelming love and pride she had for her family, her passion for music and her desire to dance as if no one was watching.

Her love and compassion for stray animals, big and small, is one example of the selfless love she shared with all through each day of her life.

Brenda is preceeded in death by her parents John and Doris Strickland.

She is survived by her lifelong love, John Terry Shealy (Terry), her three children John Casey Shealy (Casey), (Brittany), Terri Nicole Cortes (Daniel), Matthew Ryan Shealy (Matt) , six grandchildren, Scarlett, Kralen, ElliAna, Roman, Marshall, Tucker, one brother John Strickland, Jr (Jeannine) one sister Donna Williams and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Brenda will be dearly missed in our lives but will always live in our hearts
