Brenda's obituary
Brenda Ross, born in the year of 1939 to Alfred and Eileen, in Hampstead Heath, London, England, passed away peacefully with her daughter at her side on the morning of December 31, 2023. Known widely for her sweetness, kindness, and faithful spirit, Brenda left an indelible mark on the lives of those who had the good fortune of knowing her.
Brenda married Neil in 1960 in London and had three children over the next few years.
The Family moved to California in 1970 where Brenda Volunteered at the children's schools and never missed a sporting event or concert. She cooked the best casseroles and everyone knew Thursday was fresh baked bread day.
A consummate lover of sports, Brenda faithfully cheered on her favorite teams, the San Francisco 49ers and the Oakland A's. Her love for sports didn't end at watching; she was also known for her prowess on the bowling lanes, where she enjoyed many friendly competitions.
Brenda's intelligence and patience shone brightly during her recreational times spent solving puzzles. Her crafty hands, always busy, produced beautiful pieces of needlepoint art that adorned her home and that of her loved ones. These hobbies provided her with countless hours of joy and relaxation.
When it came to vacationing, Brenda's heart was always in Hawaii. The island's serene natural beauty was her favorite escape, and she cherished the memories she created there.
Brenda is survived by her husband and love of her life, Neil, sister Annie, her children, Iain (Heather) David and Jenny (Luke) 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
Brenda's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved her, but her spirit and the memories she left behind will forever be cherished. Her kind and faithful nature touched everyone she met, and she will be dearly missed.
